Set up Video Call

Once you have filled out a questionnaire and you have set up an appointment date you will need to make sure your device has video capabilities. Here are some helpful tips for setting it up.

iPhone & iPad:

Step 1: Check Email for Appointment Link

Open your email with the appointment link from your video calling device.
(Apple Product in this example)

Note: If you are having a hard time finding the appointment email search for WePrescribe Appointment.

Click on the start appointment button which will take you to the Login Screen of our website.

Step 2: Login to WePrescribe.com

Log into our Website. Click on the link from the email we sent you, or the Login button on our website.  Both will take you to the login Screen.  Note that your username is your email address. If you do not remember your login info, you can have the password reset and sent to your email.

Step 3: YES, Allow Notifications

After you login you will see a browser notification.
By clicking allow you will receive a notice when the Doctor is video-calling you.

Step 4: On the Appointment page click Join

After you have turned on your camera and microphone click the Join button at the time of you're appointment.

Your doctor video-call will appear on this screen.

When the doctor connects press Pickup and begin your video-call.

Step 5: Allow permission for WePrescribe to Access Camera and Microphone

After you have logged into our website and get a call from the doctor, you will be prompted to allow microphone and camera access. Click Allow. You will then see this icon appear and your ready to go.

Step 6: Get Your Prescriptions and Remedies

After an online consultation our Hawai’i board-certified doctor will write you a legal prescription for necessary medicine, send it to your local pharmacy, at a time that’s convenient for you.

*Disclaimer: A prescription is approved from a doctor only if the doctor finds it appropriate.

If you got this message you have 2 options.

  1. You do not have a Camera or Microphone on that device and need to log into the website using the device with video-call capabilities.
  2. You do have them and simply need to turn them on.
    • a. Start Menu > Settings > Microphone > On
    • b. Start Menu > Settings > Camera > On

Note: PC and Mac have very similar instructions.  You will also need to allow your browser (Does not work with Chrome) to access the Camera and Microphone, those settings should be in the same area as turning them on.
